site just keeps on refreshing

I seem to be having a problem with a site which we frequently visit.
The status bar down the left part of the screen just keeps on scrolling
and scrolling, and the browser window (netscape) just keeps on
refreshing I tried to empty my cache but still it didn't help. What
seems to be wrong?

This site has been previously visited but we had no problems:
