How to configure Squid.

Hello!
My squid.conf allows everybody on my network to me and go connect to any
site they want!
But, I would like to use an authentification program to restrict access
to my squid serv. and forward.
How do I configure the squid.conf to use this prog, and how to log this.
How could I do this?
Is there any script that do this? Where?
