Help No Useable Data from cachemgr?

Hi

I'm using apache 1.3.6 on http port set to 3128, installed on a Sun 420
with Solaris 7
I don't want to run apache on port 80 as I'm using this server as http
accelerator
(reverse proxy) on port 80. Could there be a problem if my web server is on
port
3128 and the cache_http_port is also 3128?

I've installed squid-2.3.STABLE2 and I've set up the acls
and placed cachemgr.cgi into the /usr/local/squid/cgi-bin directory, however
when I connect to the web address to view the results I get:

Cache Manager menu for localhost:

&auth=bG9jYWxob3N0fDk1Nzk4NTcyNHxjYWNoZW1ncnwxMjM0NTY=">

Apache Web server&auth=bG9jYWxob3N0fDk1Nzk4NTcyNHxjYWNoZW1ncnwxMjM0NTY=">

What does this mean?
I'm getting no useable data out from my cachemgr.cgi.
I've set for the Cache Manager Interface:
cache host: localhost
cache port: 3128
Manager Name: cachemgr
password: Password I've set for cachemgr using htpasswd
Any help appreciated.
