Squid Process Keeps dieing

Hello All,
We are running squid 2.4 (Dev) on two IBM Netfinities 2000R (2x750Mhz
Pentium III CPU's, 2x 100Mbps Ethernet Cards each and raid
 controllers/storage) + on a Sun Ultra 10 with a software raid external
disk pack. The proxies are tied together in a system via sibling
relationships using ICP resulting in about 70GB total storage.

The strange thing is that about three times a day the squid process
will
die, thankfully the RunCache script will re-spawn a new one, but why
 does it do it?
No apparent errors are outputed to syslogd or squid logs and the
process
 usually dies during non-peak times.

 Any-one have any thoughts?

 Cheers!
