what is this guy talking about?? you got a virus from something
(tarball)you didn't even run (not even compiliable/excutable) on your
win9x box? sounds like it's not the squid tar ball that's the problem..but
something else <shrug>.

dial the ethernet?? what is that? why don't you just figure out where
the problem lies...the pc or the server/firewall?
