offline browsing

        I have a small network connected through dial-up. The gateway carries a
proxy (Squid) and also a nameserver.
        Is it possible with Squid to configure the proxy for off-line browsing? I
mean, when the dial-up line is down, the proxy must serve the pages from the
cache.
        (I guess this implies caching the DNS too, but i saw that Squid already does
this)
