You need to add the port number the SSL_ports ACL, or access will be
denied by security reasons. The CONNECT (https) method is very flexible,
and without proper restrictions it can be used to connect to mostly any
TCP service. This has frequently been used by hackers to hide their real
IP address by jumping thru misconfigured proxies, and is why the
configruation is rather strict on what ports are allowed by default.
