or the easiest and fastest way to determine if your transparent proxy works by pointing your browser's url to
http://net.yahoo.com/cgi-bin/trace.sh (its a yahoo traceroute program) and if you see an ip address of your proxy
server instead of your workstation ip address then it is working.
