Hi!

I have Squid Version 2.3.STABLE3 on (SuSE 5.3) Linux running. I compiled it
with kernel 2.0.38.
If I start squid a file /tmp/squid.alloc is beeing created. It grows
continuously.

What is it for?

I never saw this file anywhere mentioned! I can delete it without any
obviously error. If its deleted it stays away...
Did I used an compiling option that causes it?
