hello, we want ot swap fron microsoft proxy to squid
because squid is cheaper and faster and has more configuration options
but squid seems to have a memory problem.
i tried 2.3.stable4 then it went into swap space
i tried 2.4.dev4 and it took longer to chew up all the memory but it still went into swap space (both had --enable-dmalloc on)
i am trying 2.2.stable5 to see if it helps, this one seems to be having the same problem. running 196 meg of ram, pII 333 22 gig of hd for cache and 1 gig for o/s i am running linux 2.2.14, any ideas on how to fix it
