[SQU] SQUID's advantage

Hello, there. q(^_^)p

I am using SQUID 2.2.3 .

Could anybody teach me the advantage of SQUID 2.3
compared with SQUID 2.2.3 ??

Furthermore, what part of SQUID feature is superior to
another application ?
For example, Deligate or Netscape Proxy Server.

Or which part of another application can do the function,
that SQUID doesn't have.

Even to tell me the effective URL is Okay.
