[SQU] Digest Authentication

Quick question..

Does Squid support Digest authentication instead of Basic authentication?
The reason im asking is that we are using NDS Corporate Edition and
pam_auth, which means that our NDS passwords are travelling across the
network and they are not encrypted with a "hard to break" encryption.
