[SQU] Squid 2.3 Stable 4 dies on higher load

Hi!
 I'm having a problem with squid 2.3 Stable 4 . I compiled it with
--enable-snmp --diasble-poll and with dl malloc.
 On higher load 25-30 req/sec it just starts to flood the cache.log with the
following error messages, and dies or restarts itself.
 Is there a way to eliminate the problem ?
The hardware is PII -333 384 Mb RAM 28 GB HDD for squid files.
