[SQU] Comparing cache performance

Hi,

I would like to evaluate how our caches perform. We are running to
siblings caches who are in a hierarchy with two parents. We would like
to evaluate how the system performs. In order to do so, we would like to
know how long does it take to get the object from our caches, from the
parents and directly from the source.

I think this can be done with cache-compare.pl . But when I try to do so
I get the following error:

cache$ ./cache-compare.pl urls
Number found where operator expected at (eval 30) line 1, near ")0"
        (Missing operator before 0?)
String found where operator expected at (eval 96) line 1, near
"'unsigned short'
 'int'"
        (Missing operator before 'int'?)
String found where operator expected at (eval 133) line 1, near
"&__const 'struc
t sockaddr'"
        (Missing operator before 'struct sockaddr'?)
http://www.uab.es/index.htm:

Ant the program seems to do nothing for a long time. The urls file
simply contains:

Does anyone know what is happening? I'm running Perl version 5.004_04
built for i386-linux. Or are there any other tools that could be useful
to solve the problem?

Thanks in advance,

Juan Antonio
