Hi,

I am trying to set up my Squid server to do the following:

Example:

SQUID server is setup as IP 192.168.1.1 and has several dns aliases,
www.xyz.com, www.abc.com, www.irq.com

a) Recieve a request on port 80, for website www.abc.com
b) Forward the request to a webserver on 192.168.1.1 called www2.abc.com
also
c) Recieve a request on port 80, for website www.xyz.com
d) Forward the request to a webserver on 192.168.1.1 called www2.xyz.com
also
c) Recieve a request on port 80, for website www.irq.com
d) Forward the request to a webserver on 192.168.2.2 called www2.irq.com

The users browser needs to be unaware of the redirection/forwarding of the
request.

The request to the end webserver needs to look as though it has come from
the squid server (It will be restricting access bassed on IP address)

The squid server might not be on the same network as the clients or the
webservers.

Can I achieve this using squid, if so how?

Kieran
