Hi again folks,

        I apologise for the repost of this, but it is a problem.

        After some further investigation, I have found that this has
        been reported and fixed according to the squid2.4.PRE-STABLE
        Bugzilla system.

        According to Duane Wessels this bug is fixed! (Sorry Duane!)

        I will supply more info;

        Platform: Solaris 2.6 Generic_105181-21 sun4u sparc sun4u
        Compiler: Reading specs from /usr/local/lib/gcc-lib/sparc-sun-solaris2.6/2.8.1/specs
                        gcc version 2.8.1

        Configure Options: --enable-async-io
                                --with-pthreads
                                --enable-storeio="diskd ufs"
                                --enable-icmp
                                --enable-removal-policies="lru heap"
                                --enable-icmp
                                --enable-kill-parent-hack
                                --enable-cache-digests
                                --enable-auth-modules="MSNT PAM LDAP"
