I've got all u want running over here..

The config parms I used were

./configure
--enable-icmp
--enable-delay-pools
--enable-snmp
--enable-ntlm_authentication
--enable-basic-authentication
--enable-ntlm-auth-modules="NTLMSSP fakeauth"

version used over here:

Squid Cache: Version 2.4.DEVEL4-ntlm

got it with:

cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.squid.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/squid login
cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.squid.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/squid co -r
ntlm squid

I can send you my conf file too, if you need it.

Don't know which version is available now, but this still works perfectly
over here..

Hi. I have a problem which someone here may be able to help me about.

I'm administrating a Squid proxy server which is made available for a number
of workstation users. I need to have some per-user accounting; however, the
problem is that those users have dynamic IP addresses, so I can't solve it
in the "obvious" way.

As all the users will be using Windows workstations, I though that this
could be solved using some form of "pseudo-NTLM" authentication, where MSIE
sends user/domain information, Squid happily accepts it and logs the
information. In other words, it isn't really authenticating, it accepts ANY
user/domain/password, just logging it.

Now, my question is: how can I do this? I've tried using the fakeauth_auth
helper, but MSIE always seems to fail authentication. Is this the right
helper for doing this?
