[SQU] DIRTY cache

Feb 28 08:31:55 proxy3 squid[456]: Rebuilding storage in /usr/local/squid/cache2 (DIRTY)
Feb 28 08:31:55 proxy3 squid[456]: Set Current Directory to /usr/local/squid/cache2

I have been seeing the above for several weeks now. What does it
mean? What is the cause? Is it a problem? If it is, how do i fix it?
