RE: [SQU] Always getting MISSes

Is there any way to distinguish these browser revalidations from real
misses? i.e this will cause the hit/miss ratio to go 'out of whack' if a
calamaris type report is run on the access.log.

All the requested objects is already in your browser cache, and never
requested from Squid (only revalidations is sent to Squid).
