[SQU] Squid Config works fine but in late night hours, doesn't fetch Pages?

Hello,

I've set up a fine small-configured Squid Proxy
on my RedHat 6.2 Firewall (ADSL Account, 5 Machine-LAN)

This Configuration works fine most time but quite very
often SQuid refuses to do work at late night (22:00pm to
3:00am)
The System doesn't update any news, or databases at this
time and is 98% idle. The Hard-Disks also work propperly.

All i get this time is an Entry in my store.log

So then the Proxy errors the Client with an timeout!

I first figured out a problem with my configuration, but the
same thing works all right all day and on another machine
(RH 6.2) too.
So what's next? A problem with my Provider's Network?
That's strange too, because browsing without Proxy works
fine while the proxy doesn't get any response from webservers
at the same time (tested with iptraf & tcpdump)
May a problem with packetsize or header information be the
reason?
I don't know, maybe you do?
