Dear All,

I am again on this list with a problem :)

I am using squid-2.4STABLE1 on BSDI4.0.1 Platform. I
have a problem in configuring squid with "diskd" file
types in "cache_dir" option. I was using squid with
conventional ufs type, but now I want to change it
with "diskd" type withour wiping out my cache. For
this I just cahnged the following
cache_dir ufs /usr/local/squid/cache 100 16 256

with the following one
#cache_dir diskd /usr/local/squid/cache 100 16 256
Q1=72 Q2=64

When I start squid it gives error

FATAL: Unknown cache_dir type 'diskd'

Squid Cache (Version 2.4.STABLE1): Terminated
abnormally.
CPU Usage: 0.024 seconds = 0.008 user + 0.016 sys
Maximum Resident Size: 0 KB
Page faults with physical i/o: 0

I have ipcs command working on my Platform as ipcs
gives a valid output. I also went did a brief go
through to squid --enable-options, but there was no
option to enable or disable this type and if there is
then please tell me about that.

Thanks for your help.

Kashan
