[squid-users] Strange Proxy Behaviour...

Hello everyone,

I've got a strange problem with Squid which needs to get solved
somehow... We have actual Squid2.4STABLE-1 running on the machine of a
customer which is connected to our company with a simple
ISDN-callback, the port is 8080.

Our Squid is a 2.3STABLE-2 running without problems on port 8085.

The problem is now that the proxy within the network of our customer
which is running on Port 8080 seems just to cache about 50% to 60% of
all requests... Strange thing is that the access.log tells me that the
different pages (like www.wlw.de or www.tnt.de) are requested but the
browser just runs into nowhere and refuses to load the page... Within
our company, surfing about the 2.3-Squid, we can access these pages
easily and without problems...

Does anyone of you have the slightest idea how to get this problem
solved ? If needed I will attach the actual squid.conf to my next
mail if someone dares to help me ;-) !

Thanks in advance !

Oliver
