Segmentation violation / abort traps is alsmost always code errors. In
this case my first bet is a compiler error. The GCC shipped in FreeBSD
4.3 is known to be buggy, and so is the GCC shipped in RedHat 7.0 but in
different ways... both biting Squid quite badly...
