What I did was have this setup

  Client m/c (A) >--------< Firewall (B) >------< Web Server (C)

  192.168.20.210 192.168.20.196 & 192.168.10.204
                                          168.10.197

with IPChains and IPv4 forwarding setup.

What you mean by 'IPv4 forwarding setup' is 'Routing', right? ie you have set B as a router, as well as set IPChains on it??(I will use IPFW instead of IPChains since I am working on FreeBSD). And I think you need to do that, because your firewall has 2 interfaces, so it HAS to have a router on it, right?

  Thanks,

  Anjali

I later added a DNS server on the .20 part, and worked fine.

We setup a stand alone demo of the Internet, and this worked
  fine.
