And after 8-10 days?

Memory usage increases with up to 3*cache_mem after startup with a
filled cache is not entirely unexpected. But if the usage continues to
grow after a few days of use, or if it grows by (not up to) considerably
bigger amounts than 3*cache_mem then there defenitely is a problem.

(the above 3*cache_mem assumes a reasonable cache_mem setting. If you
set it too small or too large then you will have to adjust the
calculation)
