Hello friends!

I have a proxyy server in my network that is working perfect, but some
users
don't like to use it, so they generally change the proxy settings in
their
computers ( Internet Explorer and Netscape) . So I need a way to turn
off
the possibillity to the users change the proxy settings in their
browsers.
Some people said to me to use a program called poledit, but this is
impossible.
In my point of view may exist a way to do this in the regedit, but I
don't
know what key i must change to do this modifications !

 Any suggestions will be usefull

   - You 'd better look into more fundamental solutions and look
at your internet access configuration.
At our company we use a commercial firewall. User PC's have
no direct access to the Internet; as a concequense they MUST use
the proxy otherwise they don't have webaccess...

You can also use SQUID in transparant proxy mode. In this configuration
you direct web requests from a router to your SQUID without the user
being aware of that.

This can be done with Linux solutions, or CISCO routers using the WCCP
protocol.
See SQUID docs and mostly FAQ's for detailed info.

Marc.
