You need to go to that helper dir, issue 'make' there, and copy final binary
to directory where your binaries are, and put that into auth_param field.
(for example: auth_param ntlm program /home/proxy/bin/ntlm_auth)

Hi there,
 Can anyone help..... I have downloaded the squid-2.5 beta and built it
using

./configure -enable-ntlm-authentication -enable-ntlm-auth-modules="NTLMSSP"
-enable-basic-authentication

The install and make went fine. Have gone through the squid.config file
manually to highlight every option that I am interested in and the default
ones.

I have made changes up to the point where I have to specify the auth_param
ntlm program.

In the
/squid_source/squid-head-200106282300/src/auth/ntlm/helpers/NTLMSSP

I can't find the correct file to specify as there are only .c files and I'm
looking for ntlm_auth.o.

Is ntlm_auth the correct file to specify for auth_param ntlm program

If not what am I supposed to put here.
