Hi,

I have recently set up a 2.4 stable Squid on an Ultra 10 running Red hat
6.2. I have been able to cache the local web servers on our intranet,
without using any peer's, and that worked fine, just couldn't get out of the
intranet via the existing proxy server! (Micro$oft I think)

I have added a cache_peer as this proxy server, and now I am prompted to
enter my Uid/Password to get on the net! But this also happens when trying
to access any of my Intranet servers.

I have added the following to my Squid.conf

cache_peer 10.0.0.1 parent 80 7 default no-query
cache_peer_domain 10.0.0.1 !.intranet
cache_peer_domain 10.0.0.1 !.a.com

I basically want to set up the squid to cache only intranet sites, and refer
any queries to extranet servers to the existing proxy, which will handle
extranet authentication

Thanx in advance
