Hello All,
I am new to Squid sources... I have only played with the different config options of Squid so far. I have a problem under the httpd_accel option.
Some of the config params I am using are :
http_port 3128
httpd_accel_port 80
httpd_accel_host virtual
httpd_accel_with_proxy on

I have configured my browser to use Squid as its proxy. I am able to access all the pages intranet/localnet) well. But I can access the accelerated httpd as http://host_running_squid:3128
only if I set the option to disable proxy for the host_running_squid in my browser. Otherwise, I get access denied.

I noticed this warning in client_side.c :
        debugObj(33, 1, "WARNING: Forwarding loop detected for:\n", request, (ObjPackMethod) & httpRequestPack);

Why is this restriction?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

regards
Geetha
