[squid-users] SMB_AUTH questions

Hello All,
I have a question about the SMB_AUTH module. I noticed that it is not
capable of having multiple PDC/BDC's... and yes I know MSNT auth does. We need
to use SMB_AUTH, because it provides group restriction. Unfortunately it looks
like SMB_AUTH can only talk to one Domain Controller. If the DC we are pointing
to fails, we won't have automatic failover. I read the doc's and it said we can
try using the WINS server. When I tried this it started authenticating to our
PDC. Now the question I had was, if we use the WINS server will it
automatically authenticate to a BDC if the PDC was down? Also, I'm guessing
that since we're still pointing to one server, if the WINS machines dies then
we're out of luck?
Anyone know if there is a new version of SMB_AUTH to handle multiple
PDC/BDC's?

Thanks in advance,
Larry
