Vs: [squid-users] WCCP

Jop,

I've been trying to do the same and with Joe's latest mail on the subject
I'm able to get traffic redirected (to my Squid?) but nothing happens. Squid
sees no redirected traffic. My router can see Squid, it can ping the
gre-tunnel's ip address, I have the iptables redirect command and my
Squid is compiled with netfilter-support.

So I'm pretty much done with WCCP for a while... :-) Read messages
containing WCCP from the last few days to find Joe's message, it might
help you.

Behave,

I've been trying to configure squid2.4 Stable2 to work with WCCP.. Anyone
have a GOOD faq on how to get this to work with Linux 2.4.9 with iptables?

Also, what's the benefits vs drawbacks when compared to using route-map/ip
next-hop based method on Cisco's?

Thanks, Billy
