Re: [squid-users] cache dir keeps growing

In a further note, from the info section of cache_mgr,

Cache information for squid:
         Request Hit Ratios: 5min: 48.4%, 60min: 38.6%
         Byte Hit Ratios: 5min: 22.4%, 60min: 13.9%
         Storage Swap size: 943634 KB
         Storage Mem size: 8188 KB
         Storage Replacement Threshold: -0.998348
         Mean Object Size: 2.77 KB
         Requests given to unlinkd: 0

Is the Storage Replacement Threshold OK as a negative number?
Also, as there are no requests given to unlinkd, can this mean that
the cache is not getting purged correctly?

Forgive my many questions, but I would really like to get to some
semblance of normal operation.

Thanks,
Martin
