Hmm. I had a crash this afternoon with exactly the same error.
Unfortunately this is all that was logged, and the first time I've seen it
in three weeks running this squid version at similar load levels (190/sec
at the time), so it's probably not much use in tracking down the problem.

Software: Squid 2.4STABLE2 with ftp_create_directory.patch on Linux 2.4.7
Hardware: PIII-1000, 1.5GB RAM, 7x reiserfs cache disks.
