[squid-users] redirector on tranparent cache

Hi all
 i m just trying out squirm for my transparent cache which is accelarating
multiple backend servers using httpd_acceleration_host virtual
now it seems that squirm requires client IP addresses in the squirm.local file
for redirection ,, which i cant know in advance coz clients will be connecting
from the general internet.. can that file be empty???

am i missing some part of the relevant documentaion
