[squid-users] Bad Performance with Squid and WCCP

Hi,

I have a Dell server 2450 Power Edge, here I have installed squid and is
runing with WCCP, the problem is that after of 15 minutes the performance of
the server begin to degrade until putting itself very slow.

what Can I can review to resolve this problem?

The memory is 512 K and disk partitions for cache is:

/dev/sda5 6198404 323316 5560216 6% /var

Kernes is: 2.4.7-10smp
