Hi,
Squid's dns lookup does not do a search. ie it will not add a domain to
an unqualified name. There's a squid config option to do this.
# TAG: append_domain
# Appends local domain name to hostnames without any dots in
# them. append_domain must begin with a period.
#
#append_domain .yourdomain.com
