[squid-users] assertion failed: comm.c:588: "F->flags.open"

Hi

I have RH7.1 with kernel 2.4.16/2.4.17/2.4.18p9 and squids
squid-2.4-200112050000
squid-2.4-200201090000
squid-2.4-200202130000

compiled with options:

export CFLAGS="-O2 -mpentiumpro"
ulimit -n 8192
make distclean
./configure --prefix=/usr/local/squid --enable-forw-via-db --enable-icmp ---
 -enable-cache-digests --enable-delay-pools --enable-
linux-netfilter --enable-removal-policies="lru" --enable-auth-
modules="NCSA" --enable-storeio="ufs,d
iskd" --enable-wccp --enable-htcp --enable-snmp --enable-gnuregex --enable-
truncate

and on all the kernels and squid versions I have the same problem

when i want to reload the squid process and send him a kill -1 he does
something like this:
