  Subject: [squid-users] workaround?

  Hi,

I run squid2.4-STABLE3 on RH7.2. Ever since launched, I've users
feedback that they can't apply online on 1 of the site, i.e.

  http://www1.moe.edu.sg/teach/apply.htm

When they click on "Here" to apply online, the following error page is
  displayed:

  ERROR
The requested URL could not be retrieved

  --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

While trying to retrieve the URL:
  http://interdomino_01.moe.edu.sg/project/tq/teacher_reg.nsf/login?openform

  The following error was encountered:

  Invalid URL
Some aspect of the requested URL is incorrect. Possible problems:

Missing or incorrect access protocol (should be `http://'' or similar)
  Missing hostname
  Illegal double-escape in the URL-Path
Illegal character in hostname; underscores are not allowed

  -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Not quite the error message complained by squid.

And in my cache.log, I saw

urlParse: Illegal character in hostname 'interdomino_01.moe.edu.sg'

Any workaround to configure on squid.conf for this unique URL string based on the error messages shown?
  believed is the underscore issue.

  Thank you.

  Rgds,

  IS
