Hi :

We have a problem with some of the users using squid proxy server, to browse a site which opens up java applet to launch a character based terminal access to the mainframe. The application uses port 7000 to communicate with the server.
The users reported of getting kicked out from the site, as its quite obvious that squid listens to port 8080.

What do i have to do in this case to make it work. Do i have to write any ipchains rules to make it work? If so what do i have to write?

TIA
Happy
