[squid-users] Squid 2.4STABLE3 ignores Expires-header from upstream server

Hi to all,

Squid-2.4STABLE3 ignores the Expires-Filed in the reply-header
from an upstream server. Instead an incorrect Expires value
is calculated using the following (IMHO incorrect) rule:

    Expires = 'now' + Cache-Control-max-age

  the real Expires-reply-header-field set by the upstream
  http-server is smaller than the value calculated before.

  It could be that instead of 'now' the Date-header-field
  is used - but 'now 'and Date shall be the same in every
  time-synced environment anyway.

This (incorrect) Expires-time-value is logged in store.log and is
the time when the object really expires. However, looking at
the header fields from a fetched object, the Expires-field
looks as it should.

Thanks you
Best Regards,
Jacob
