Hi,

i have installed the Squid 2.2 Stable 5 on a Free BSD 4.4 System (Pentium
III 850 MHz / HDD 2x 40 GB / 512 MB RAM). Now the Problem i have is that it
runs fine for many hours with a cpu utilization between 0,01% and 15 % but
after that it goes up to over 98% and then you have to restart the squid
process or reboot the system to get it run again. Have anybody an idea to
solve this. I configured the squid with a 5GB Cache, 64MB RAM for squid,
Proxy_Auth for about 500 Users.

best regards,
