Actually it is a very good idea to run the following on your production
squid.conf:

  perl -n '-i*.orig' -e '/^[a-z]/ && print' squid.conf

Then edit your squid.conf to add comments on why it is set up in a certain
way, and use squid.conf.default for reading about the options.
