Hi, guys

I am running squid 2.4/STABLE4 on RedHat 7.1. I am planning to use refresh
pattern to decide object expiry time.
I have some doubts here.. Can somebody clear my following doubts ?

1. Refresh pattern is only applicable to those objects who do not have
expiry time or pragma: no-cache in header.
2. If object does not have LastModified header then, LM_FACTOR ( percentage
%) does not have any meaning..
3. If I set fresh age and stale for object to 0, it never gonna cache
object.
4. If I set fresh age 0 and Stale age 1440 for object which has
    A. Object with LastModifed header in response
    B. Object without LastModified, Expiry header

How it's gonna effect the object expiry ? I am confused here.

Thanks a lot in advance..
Help appriciated...

Jigar
