that is all very good and works like a charm.

however.... what if you'd like to put users into a particular NT group .. i.e. SquidUsers.

how would this be achieved, instead of having to use an authentication list within squid / squidguard ?

All in all I think that Squid quite easily fits into a corporate environment. If the NT group option was a reality.. it would make for a direct MS
Proxy2 replacement.

How can we do this ?

Which is provided by the ntlm authentication scheme for Microsoft IE
users, available in Squid-2.5.
