RE: [squid-users] ftp not working

Try this:

In your IE config change the following:

-> Tools -> Internet options -> Advanced

Under "browsing" uncheck "Enable folder view for FTP sites".

If this option is checked, IE won't use squid for FTP.

Hello,
http proxy is working with squid well, but I coudln't use ftp
via squid. is there any configuration that should be done for ftp.
I configured IE 5.5 to use proyx for ftp,I also tried an ftp
client (ftp voyager) to use squid as proxy, but I couldn't see any log
in access.log related to ftp.
in IE, it seems that I never go to squid, in ftp client, it says,
"triying to connect to <squid-ip> 8080" and it fails.
in both situations I never see any log in access.log.
am I doing something missing?
