Hi, pals!

I use "make" and "make install" in the auth_modules/NCSA
directory. And set authenticate_program, authenticate_children,
authenticate_ttl, authenticate_ip_ttl, and
authenticate_ip_ttl_is_strict to all default values.
( Simply umcomment the "#". )
( I use Squid-2.4 STABLE 4, Red Hat 7.1, Kernel 2.2.12. )

I meet with two troubles,

1. I can not find the file /usr/local/squid/etc/passwd;
Need I create it by myself?
who can give me a demo about the file?

2. I meet with the following error when starting squid,
( I use "./squid -NCd1" to start Squid. )

--------
2002/07/06 14:46:59| helperOpenServers: Starting 5 'ncsa_auth' processes
2002/07/06 14:46:59| WARNING: Cannot run '/usr/local/squid/bin/ncsa_auth' process.

2002/07/06 14:46:59| WARNING: Cannot run '/usr/local/squid/bin/ncsa_auth' process.
--------

How to resolve the reouble?

Cheers,
Erik
