Re: [squid-users] Proxy authorization required

Sorry for reposting this message, but I new to Squid and generally to Linux
system configuration.

When surfing on some web sites (http://afssaps.sante.fr) or when connecting
to SSL pages, the machine on which Squid (2.4.STABLE3 under Mandrake 8.1)
is running, asks me for giving username/password as a firewall. However I
don't use either proxy authentification in ACL lists, or any
authentification program.
I was unable to find an answer to my problem in the mailing list archives
or in the FAQ.

Does my problem really come from Squid or is it some other running
application ?

My access.log entries :

1029327226.700 725 xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx TCP_MISS/000 480 CONNECT
sourceforge.net:443 - DEFAULT_PARENT/xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx -
1029327506.096 125 xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx TCP_MISS/407 556 GET
http://afssaps.sante.fr - DEFAULT_PARENT/xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx text/html

My http_access rules (I didn't change either default Squid http_access
rules excepted the last, or default ACLs) :

http_access allow manager localhost
http_access deny manager
http_access deny !Safe_ports
http_access deny CONNECT !SSL_ports
# because IP blocking isn't my problem for the moment...
http_access allow all

Thanks in advance.
