NTLM avoids this dialog box..

winbind is just a method for getting in touch with the NT domain.

For this purpose you would use the wb_group external_acl helper. See the
external_acl_type directive.

winbind helpers shipped with Squid-2.5:

  wb_auth Basic HTTP authentication
  wb_ntlmauth NTLM HTTP authentication
  wb_group Group memberships
