[squid-users] Authentication + smb_auth + login dialog box

SQUID FAQ describe a authentication method with winbind.

Today we use Squid 2.4 S3 and the basic authenticator smb_auth. This works
fine, but it is
annoying that WIN NT users get a login dialog box.

Winbind seems to avoid this dialog box.

Now my question:
smb_auth allows a user internet access if its login data is a vailid WIN NT
account AND if he has read access to the file proxyauth. Important: Not
every NT user may connect to internet, only those with access to proxyauth!
Now can I do this with winbind (and SQUID 2.5)? Can I combine wb_ntlmauth
and smb_auth:

        auth_param ntlm program /usr/local/squid/libexec/wb_ntlmauth
        auth_param ntlm children 5
        auth_param ntlm max_challenge_reuses 0
        auth_param ntlm max_challenge_lifetime 2 minutes

        auth_param basic program /usr/local/squid/bin/smb_auth ...
        auth_param basic children 5
        auth_param basic realm Squid proxy-caching web server
        auth_param basic credentialsttl 2 hours
