Hi,

As I replied in my one of the mail, I found the cause of defunct
process.
If squid is allready running and If I change address of DNS server in
/etc/reslove.conf file, then I say squid -k rotate It generates 20
defunct process
for DNSERVER ( I am running 20 instances of DNSSERVER process).

Bythe way output of ps -lp <pid> is :

F S UID PID PPID C PRI NI ADDR SZ WCHAN TTY TIME
CMD
004 Z 501 15530 15086 0 69 0 - 0 do_exi ? 00:00:00
dnsserver

Thanks
jigar
